Who runs the space?
The space is operated by me, Elliot. As a self-employed professional, I founded Common Grind to create a friendly, relaxed space to work, away from the distractions of the home office and the hustle & bustle of the city.
What are our opening hours?
We are open from 8 am to 6 pm on Monday to Friday.
What does my desk space include?
Each desk space includes a comfortable office chair, a large 27-inch monitor, an HDMI cable, two power outlets and a complementary barista coffee (depending on my availability on the day). We don't supply any other accessories such as a mouse, keyboard or Apple HDMI adapter.
How do I pay?
You will receive an automated invoice when you make a booking. You may pay in advance by bank transfer or by card on the day. It's entirely up to you, although I may ask you to make payment by bank transfer if I am not personally present on the day.
Do you offer fixed, dedicated desks?
Yes, we can offer you a fixed desk if you’d like. See the ‘Full month’ package on our Pricing page.
Where can I park?
We do not have our own dedicated parking spaces, but you can park at the Civic Centre Car Park (a 5-minute stroll) for £3.50 a day.
Do you supply tea and coffee?
Yes, every full-day or half-day visit includes one complementary barista-style coffee (depending on my availability on the day), as well as unlimited tea & instant coffee.
